How to avoid unnecessary Lines

What to do when you have too many control lines (e.g. dependent lanes).

• Do NOT try to edit a diagram with unnecessary lines: it takes longer, and it's easy to get screwed up
• Get rid of the unnecessary lines
• Change the remaining line definitions (reference point).
