InRoads Configuration
Initial configuration will be for CalTrans v7+ standards.

Status as of 9/13/07:
- I have created a fairly comprehensive Feature Style (object type)
library.
- The Named Symbologies point to the v7+ levels, and a whole bunch of
non-standard "extra" levels. Porting them back to the 63 is a manageable
automatic process.
- I am using "Bylevel" symbology initially to save time. Things
will go on the right level but other symbology will be correct later (email
me if you stumble upon something bad).
Text Sizes will require the Text Scale Factor
(InRoads>Tools>Options>>Factors) to be set to the plotting scale (e.g., for
1"=50' the Text Scale factor should be set to 50).
Xin Location:
For 805 Managed Lanes we will be using InRoads v8.9. I am currently
updating an InRoads Preference file for CalTrans v7+ standards. The file
is available at
InR_89.xin. Copy it to your working directory and use it. |
